Documentation
Everything you need to get up and running with INKD: from creating your account to working your pipeline and running a team of managers.
01Creating your account
Signing up takes under a minute, by email or with Google. On your first login, a short onboarding asks for your first name and your daily contact goal — both stay editable later in settings.
- Create your account from the signup page (email + password, or Google).
- Confirm your email: without it, password login stays blocked.
- Enter your first name and daily goal — you then land on your overview.
02The pipeline
The pipeline is a five-column board tracking every model from prospecting to signing: To contact, Contacted, Interested, Signed, Declined. All five columns fit on screen at a glance on desktop.
- Drag a card from one column to another to change its status — the change is saved immediately.
- Click a card to open its sheet: notes, message scripts and contact history.
- A “Follow up” badge appears on contacted leads with no new interaction for several days.
03Managing leads
The Leads page is the table view of your base: search, filter by status, change status and delete. It's also where you add prospects, one at a time or in bulk.
- “Add a lead” saves a prospect with their handle, platform, followers, niche and notes.
- “Import” pastes a whole list of handles at once — one per line, or separated by spaces or commas.
- The free plan is capped at 20 leads; Pro and Agency plans are unlimited.
04Message scripts
INKD ships ready-to-use DM templates for the three key moments: first contact, follow-up and closing. The {handle} token is replaced automatically with the model's @.
- From the Scripts page, prefill a @ to see the final message before copying it.
- Scripts are also available directly inside a lead's sheet, without leaving the page.
- In an agency, managers only see scripts created by the owner — not the default templates.
05Goals and statistics
Your daily contact goal drives the widget on the overview. Every contact logged from a lead sheet feeds it, along with the seven-day activity chart.
- Change your goal in Settings → Daily goal (between 1 and 200 contacts per day).
- In an agency, each manager's goal is set by the owner at invitation time.
06Working as an agency
The Agency plan unlocks multi-manager management: you invite your VAs, they work their own pipeline, and you keep a consolidated view of every lead in the agency.
- From “My agency”, generate an invitation link for your manager's email and set their daily goal.
- The manager creates their account through that link and joins your agency automatically — their billing is covered by yours.
- You can write agency-specific message scripts: those are the only ones your managers will see.
- The leaderboard compares managers; you choose what's visible (names, leads, signed) or turn it off.
07Installing INKD as an app
INKD installs on your phone or computer without going through a store: the page then opens full screen, with its own icon, and updates itself.
- iPhone / iPad: open INKD in Safari, tap Share, then “Add to Home Screen”.
- Android: open INKD in Chrome, ⋮ menu, then “Install app”.
- Desktop: in Chrome or Edge, click the install icon on the right of the address bar.
08Subscription and billing
Three plans: Free (20 leads, 1 manager), Pro (unlimited leads, 7-day free trial) and Agency (unlimited managers and team tools). Payments go through Stripe.
- The Pro trial lasts 7 days: you're only charged at the end, and you can cancel free of charge before that.
- From the Billing tab, “Manage subscription” opens the Stripe portal (payment method, invoices, cancellation).
- Moving from Pro to Agency happens in that portal: only the prorated amount for the current month is charged.
09Account and security
Your settings gather your profile, your password and two-factor authentication. Your agency and lead data stay partitioned per account.
- If you signed up with Google, you can set a password to log in without going through Google.
- Enable 2FA with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) — a code will be asked at each login.
- Disabling 2FA requires a valid code: keep your authenticator app within reach.
Frequently asked questions
Can other users see my data?
No. Your leads are partitioned to your account. In an agency, only the owner sees the consolidated view of the team's leads; managers only see their own.
What happens at the end of the Pro trial?
If you don't cancel, the Pro subscription starts automatically. If you cancel during the trial, the account goes back to Free at no cost — your existing leads stay accessible.
Can I change the app's language?
Yes. The FR / EN switcher sits at the bottom of the dashboard sidebar, right above your profile. The change is instant.
How do I remove a manager from my agency?
From “My agency”, the button at the end of the row removes the manager. Their account goes back to a standalone free account and they keep their own leads.
Can I import my existing leads?
Yes, via “Import” on the Leads page: paste your list of handles, pick the platform, and everything is created with the “To contact” status.
